Below are comments from individuals who attended the seminar:

  • "This was my first web seminar, and I really enjoyed that it was interactive. I enjoyed the polls and being able to stamp on the slides that were being shown. I also enjoyed learning about the 5E lesson, this is something that I have heard about but haven't yet explored."
  • "I really liked it, and I appreciated that the presenter talked about how beneficial trade books are and how they can change the aspect of teaching. I really like some of the ideas that were given and some books that can be used."
  • "The was the first time I saw an interactive web/video. It was neat how participants could actively participate in the polls. The pace seemed to flow nicely too."
  • "Thank you for this seminar, I am student teaching, and hope to use this information with my future students."

A certificate of attendance was deposited into participants' My Profile page in the NSTA Learning Center for completing the evaluation form at the end of the program.
