Below are comments from individuals who attended the seminar:

  • "I became interested in doing citizen science projects with my students this year in order to make the learning real and tied to actual research. This is my 1st year as a 5th & 6th grade science teacher, so this is realy great. It will save me time trying to search for projects."
  • "I thought that the presenters were very uplifting and exciting about the information they are sharing. I liked that they included teacher success stories for different activities as well."
  • "Fantastic! Learning that there are so many different types of projects to join and how it can be manageable."
  • "Loved it, the information was very helpful for a pre-service teacher."
  • "I learned that citizens can help to accelerate the rate of science research."

A certificate of attendance was deposited into participants' My Profile page in the NSTA Learning Center for completing the evaluation form at the end of the program.
