No more science fairs, instead a Family Collaborative morning where students and parents are enaged in the inquiry and design process. This article explains a little bit about the Engineering is Elementary program sponsored by the Boston Museum of Science. The program is excellent and the author is demonstrating just how wonderful it can be for students and their families. In today’s world where engineering and science are being integrated this program does it extremely well. The author hints at it but using this program science, engineering and literacy intertwine to provide students with an integrated approach.
